Note

This guide may not perfectly fit every scenario, or it may be hard to tell what category something fits into. Fleet can help assist when in the office, and if you have to make a decision without fleet's help, use your best judgement.

Dead 12V Batteries, Flat Tires, and Fleet Fixable Issues

Tasks that the fleet crew can handle, such as dead 12V batteries, flat tires, etc

Situation Location to Tow
Vehicle is mid-trip with issue see if fleet (or TCTR after hours) can assist
Vehicle is parked somewhere safe and trip is ended leave where it is with no tow
Vehicle is at risk of tow and trip is ended HOURCAR: tow back to hub

Crashes and Shop Fixes

Damage due to crashes and collisions, check engine lights, in-car tech issues, etc

Vehicle able to finish trip leave at hub or in Home Area for fleet to retrieve

Wrecked cars should go to south side of building and can use south gate to enter. Shop or fleet fixable cars should go to north side of building, either to the side of the building or out front, leaving space for cars on the side to get out and not be stuck by front cars.
