Overview
Since so little of the work we do on Fleet is conducted at the Shop, we need to bring the supplies we will need out into the field with us.
Many people use a backpack or a 5-gallon pail to hold all of their supplies for easier portability.
What's In Your Bag/Bucket?

Extra Key Fobs These plug into the key/card holder in the glovebox of every car. In electric vehicles, they connect to the ChargePoint card. In gas vehicles, they connect to the car's keys. They perform the important function of checking that members return these items to the car before they end their trip.
Wiper Fluid A ticket will be created if someone notices a car is low on/out of wiper fluid, but it can also be helpful to carry enough to put some in every car as you go throughout your day.
Trash Bags These can be extra plastic grocery bags or a roll of trash bags, but it's always important to have a way to collect any garbage you find in cars.
Odor Eliminator Spray Carry this to spray in cars that have an unpleasant odor inside them, whether or not they have a ticket about it.
Wipes These are useful to have for cleaning purposes, but should also be left in cars for member use.
Alcohol/Cleaning Spray We use isopropyl alcohol for its disinfectant properties; spray it on hard surfaces in the car, wait 5-10 seconds for optimal disinfection, and wipe it down.
Cleaning Rags Grab clean rags from the "Clean" bin in the shop, and return them to the "Dirty" bin when done.
Lint Brush/Pet Hair Cleaner Pet hair can be especially difficult to get out of the cars. There is a box at the Shop with useful tools for this, though there are not enough for everyone to carry them at all times.
Tire Inflator This is one of the two tools we use everyday on Fleet that runs off of a Ryobi 18v battery pack. All Evie tires should be filled to 36 psi. Note that the tire pressure reading often drops 1-2psi once you stop actively inflating it, so add a little more air if necessary to reach the proper inflation.
Vacuum This is the other tool we use everyday on Fleet that runs off of a Ryobi 18v battery pack. These are not wet/dry vacs, so do not vacuum up liquid or snow, as it could cause mold growth. Make sure to empty the vacuum when you're done with it.
Return Tools to Shop at End of Day!
Bigger tools, such as vacuums, tire pumps, and scooters are extra important to keep track of since we have a limited number that the whole team shares. To facilitate this, there is a whiteboard that you can “sign out” the tools on; write your name next to which tool you’re taking for the day. These tools must be brought back to the Fleet room at the end of the day.
