Reporting Private Cars Parked at EV Spot Chargers

Sometimes private vehicles will be illegally parked at EV Spot chargers, blocking anyone from accessing the charger. Illegal parking includes any private vehicle parked at the green, Evie-only charger, or any non-electric vehicle parked at the blue public charger. The cities have agreed to tow vehicles parked wrongly at EV Spot chargers if reported to them.

In Minneapolis, these cars can be reported to the city by calling 311 or in the 311 app. The city asks that you provide the following information when reporting a parking violation:

  • License plate number
  • State that issued the license plate
  • Vehicle color
  • Vehicle make
  • Address where the vehicle is located
  • (in app) Photo of parking violation

In Saint Paul, parking violations can be reported via the Saint Paul Police non-emergency line at 651-291-1111. They will similarly ask for identifying information of the vehicle in question and its location

Car Washes

All cars have Holiday carwash passes on the left side of the windshield. These should automatically scan at any of the Holiday car washes with a scanner, pictured below.

Public Restrooms

Refuge Restrooms is a user-generated database that lets users search for gender-neutral and accessible restrooms by area. There are descriptions of how to find the restroom, and these descriptions often include directions to and information about gendered bathrooms as well.
