If a MS staff person suspects someone is impaired they should:
Check their driving record for new DUIs
Make a ticket for fleet to check the car as soon as possible for physical signs of impairment (smell, open containers, etc)
Make a ticket for a manager to check the cameras for signs of impairment
If the record check comes back with new DUIs, or the MS person has strong safety concerns or feels moral responsibility that this person is an imminent danger to themselves or others, escalate to a manager.
At this point, we can immobilize or suspend the driver as appropriate, with the call being made by a manager
If fleet check or cameras show clear signs of impairment, MS will proceed with terminating the member.
