Dashboards
Overview
At HOURCAR, we have created a number of dashboards to showcase our data, using both Power BI and web dashboards.
The Power BI dashboards are updated less frequently, but they contain a vast amount of data. In order to access them, you need a Power BI Pro license. Please submit a Help Desk request to the IT department to request this license.
The web dashboards are updated more frequently, but they only contain real-time data. These are used primarily by our internal Fleet and Member Services teams. You do not need a special license to access these dashboards. To gain access, simply log in with your HOURCAR account.
External partners can access both types of dashboards, but they will first need an HOURCAR domain account. Please submit a Help Desk request to gain dashboard access for external partners.
Power BI Dashboards
Overall Dashboard
Our main dashboard is the Overall Dashboard, which contains data about trips, revenue, users, chargers, hubs, and more. This dashboard contains sensitive financial data, so please do not share it widely.
UMN Dashboard
We have a UMN Dashboard, which contains data specific to the University of Minnesota. This dashboard was created per request of John Mark Lucas, the Transportation Programs Manager at the University. We've considered making a similar dashboard for Macalester, but nothing has been finalized.
Cities Dashboard
We have a Cities Dashboard, which was created specifically for our external partners at the City of Saint Paul, including Erin Keyser, Russ Stark, and Will Schroeer.
Credits Dashboard
We have a Credits Dashboard, which contains information about credits given to members. This is primarily used by our Member Services department.
Member Services Call Dashboard
We have a Member Services Call Dashboard, which tracks call data from our Member Services department.
Web Dashboards
These dashboards are updated via Python script actions that run every 15 minutes in the fleet-dashboard GitHub repository. They are hosted using Cloudflare.
Vehicle Availability
Our main web dashboard is the Vehicle Availability Dashboard, which tracks the vehicle availability across the fleets. In addition, it shows the available Evie balance across Minneapolis and Saint Paul in real-time.
Hub Assignments
We have a Hub Assignments Dashboard, which shows each HOURCAR vehicle's hub assignment in real-time.
Scheduled Maintenance
We have a Scheduled Maintenance Dashboard, which shows each HOURCAR vehicle's upcoming scheduled maintenance times.
Charger Availability
We have a Charger Availability Dashboard, which shows the availability of each EV Spot charger in real-time.
